Collection Note Card
This note card is from the watercolor painting “Collection”. The painting is part of the “At The Letter” series by Kristine Plum. This painting depicts a horse and rider performing a collected movement in front of a dressage judge and her dressage test scribe at a horse show. The dressage show arena’s have letters situated at precise locations around the arena, a tradition dating from the middle ages. This is the third painting (A, B, C…) in the series, C for Collection.
Dressage horses are trained to perform collected movements like passage (an elevated trot with suspension) and piaffe (trotting in place) along with extended and medium gaits.
The cards are 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ are blank inside and have a black border.
